Instead of frustrating referrals and disjointed care plans, Leva’s team of world-renowned pain experts create personalised care plans, with a focus on medical cannabis treatments (MedCan).
Leva came to us with a product that wasn’t delivering what they needed; an accessible platform with strong conversion. Part of the problem was the lack of clarity around their MedCan offering, a commonly misunderstood and highly regulated pain treatment.
We partnered with Leva to clarify their MedCan proposition and build an accessible site that would resonate with chronic pain sufferers.
Leva wanted to ensure people with chronic pain could more easily find, identify and sign up for the right pain management treatment. We delivered a leaner, more straightforward registration process informed by user research. We built an easier-to-use CMS, creating more flexibility with a better choice of components by working alongside Leva’s marketing and SEO team.

We gathered insights from over 150 people living with chronic pain, allowing us to build a site that truly worked for the user. We regularly reviewed the copy and questions on the site to ensure they reflected the needs of chronic pain sufferers, removing overly medicalised terms.
Accessibility drove all our decisions, and we adhered to the advice of the GDS: optimising type sizing for legibility and increasing the sizes of interactive elements.
Leva had existing brand guidelines, which we helped them fully utilise to more clearly reflect their MedCan offering.
When building out new components for their CMS, we outlined rules on how to use them to help them build and future-proof their brand. We did all this in close collaboration with the Leva design team to ensure we were in keeping with their vision.
